01 · The problem
Funnel analysis is either an expensive manual teardown or an AI that confidently makes things up. Neither is repeatable. Paste the same page into a chatbot twice and you get two different answers, none of them tied to what is actually on the screen. I wanted a funnel read that a machine could trust: same input, same output, every claim pinned to the exact copy or CSS it came from.
02 · The thing
Paste a URL and UXXRAY walks the funnel the way a visitor would, homepage through checkout, and reports the conversion tactics it finds: money-back guarantees, proof placement, pricing transparency, urgency. Every tactic is tied to the real evidence on the page, the exact line of copy or the computed style, and the funnel gets a 0-100 score. It is deterministic. There is no language model guessing in the loop, so the same funnel scores the same way every time. Results are public in a ranked league, exportable as JSON and design tokens, and readable by AI agents through a free API with no signup.
03 · The work
A renderer that loads a funnel and walks it step by step, a detection layer that ties each conversion tactic to the exact copy or computed CSS it was measured from, and a 0-100 scoring model built on that evidence rather than inference. On top: a public league that ranks every funnel analyzed, JSON and design-token export, and a no-signup API so an AI agent can pull a teardown directly. The whole point was to make the measurement reproducible, so nothing in the scoring path calls a language model.
04 · The result
Live with a free tier that runs unlimited teardowns. Hundreds of funnels analyzed so far, and the pattern that keeps showing up is telling: most sites bury their proof below the fold, and the majority never put a price on the page at all. A Pro tier ($29/mo, billing switching on soon) adds bulk scans and a priority queue.
